Easter Fun at Oakdene

Easter is always a fun time at Oakdene as we relish the onset of Spring with longer and warmer days ahead of us. This year has been no different as we enjoyed making Easter Bonnets, eating hot cross buns currently provided by Morrisons in Verwood and of course there was chocolate aplenty for us all to enjoy. 

This year though we welcomed some very special visitors as we took delivery of a Hatching Kit of some duck eggs. Residents, visitors and staff alike have been carefully monitoring the eggs and as of today we now have 4 gorgeous ducklings that are delighting everyone. 

It was safe to say that residents and staff had a blast over the Easter bank holiday weekend. We look forward to celebrating the upcoming seasonal events at our home.
