Catherine Bowles
Home Manager
Catherine BowlesHome ManagerCatherine has worked in adult social care since 1989. She has spent 26 years working as a CQC inspector and has also worked in regional management and quality assurance in care homes. All these roles involved either supporting home managers or temporarily managing care homes. This was the part of her roles she always enjoyed the most and she decided to take on the challenge of care home management permanently. Her passion is to ensure that people get to live their best life possible supported by a happy, well-trained, and enthusiastic team of staff.
Heidi Balchin
Deputy Manager
Heidi BalchinDeputy ManagerHeidi has worked with the Care Concern Group for a few years and has worked in some of our sister homes, running a 20-bed residential unit successfully before progressing to become deputy here at Oakdene Care Home. Heidi has lots of experience and qualifications including her NVQ level 5 in management and leadership and loves to support staff in their training. Heidi is the train the trainer for the home.
Heidi has a passion for dementia and wants to ensure the residents are well looked after and happy here with us all at Oakdene Care Home.

He is passionate about promoting a culture of good practice within his team of 5 housekeepers. Ben is often found completing word games with residents in the lounges!
