What is Residential Care?
Residential care is for those who would benefit from a little extra support in their daily life or from the companionship that group living provides. A residential care home provides, accommodation, food, and around-the-clock care, as well as a variety of facilities and activities that contribute to the overall wellbeing of residents.
Our professional care team is available at all times of the day and night to assist with medication management, mobility, communication, and personal care. Some care homes and nursing homes may also provide additional care types such as specialist care, nursing care, dementia care, respite care, and palliative care.
Those in residential care are able to continue with their everyday lives whilst not having to worry about household responsibilities and also being presented with opportunities to meet new people, try new things, and spend days out in the local area. They also have the reassurance that carers are available around-the-clock to provide a high standard of healthcare and personal support.
