Celebrating Valentine’s Day

Here at Oakdene Care Home we really do pride ourselves on having a warm and homely environment and where everyone is a part of the Oakdene family. What better way to tell our residents how much we love them by celebrating Valentine’s Day. 

Each of our residents was given a real red rose with a note attached as a sign of our love and they were delighted to receive them.

Our Head Chef presented a wonderful menu for lunch and the dining room was set beautifully with flowers and fizz and we enjoyed favourites as Game Pie and Mixed Berry Crumble. The love just kept on coming as we enjoyed some singing entertainment from Paul Spencer and Afternoon Tea treats of Red Velvet cake and Chocolate Fudge cake. 

We love to celebrate national holidays here at Oakdene, and we can't wait to decorate our home and supply lots of themed activities for the next one.
