Oakdene Care Home has a team of professionals that are dedicated to each individual within our home and they all have a passion for delivering high-quality care that is person-centred. Our home believes in forming strong relationships with not only our residents but also their families. We are able to achieve this by treating everyone with respect and as a home, we ensure that everyone within Oakdene Care Home feels valued and fulfilled.

    Tom is the dedicated gardener at Oakdene Care Home, creating a vibrant, welcoming outdoor space for residents, staff and visitors. Known for his green thumb and friendly nature, Tom takes pride in maintaining the home’s gardens. Tom believes that gardening has a powerful role in supporting well-being, and he often involves residents in light gardening activities, encouraging connection with the outdoors.

    Whether he’s planting a new rose bush or simply chatting with a resident during his rounds, Tom’s presence adds life and warmth to the Oakdene community.
