Quiet efficiency and high quality care are the hallmarks of the Oakdene team; home manager, nurse manager and nurses, kitchen, cleaning and laundry staff, together with handyman and gardener all work together with the one aim to ensure that everyone who lives or stays at Oakdene enjoys life to the full.

We are a care home with nursing. In other words, Oakdene is registered to accommodate individuals with personal care needs only or those with more extensive nursing needs. Nurses are on duty 24 hours a day and seven days a week and as a nursing home, there is a high ratio of staff to residents - a team devoted to care and the best interests of each resident.
High levels of training are essential to ensure all staff at Oakdene are always aware of improved medical practices and therapy to benefit each individual. Our qualified staff are kept fully up to date and work closely with local G.P's and specialists to maintain the highest professional standards of care for your peace of mind.

We are also used as a training home by Bournemouth School of Nursing and are audited by both Bournemouth and Southampton Nursing Schools to ensure that our standards are satisfactory for such training.
